Hotel Review: VM Beach Resort, Puerto Galera

During our 3D2N-stay in Puerto Galera we booked at VM Beach Resort. It’s located at White Beach, Puerto Galera. We did not book in advance because it’s off peak season. When we were at Batangas Pier, we were offered a rate of P1500 per night, that’s little expensive for super lean season. We did not book at the pier, we were welcomed by one of the staff of the hotel when we arrived at White Beach and we were given a price of P800 per night for a standard room with AC, add P200 if we want the one with hot shower. Well, I thought, who needs hot shower when you’re at the beach so we opted to get the less expensive room, P800 per night, we paid P1600 for 2 nights.

PROS:
Affordable Price. P800/night for a room for 4 was a steal.
Clean private bathroom.
Clean beddings.
Great location, beach front.
Big spacious room with veranda.

CONS:
No free breakfast.
No telephone, if you want something, you need to go out and get it.
No refrigerator, if you want cold drinks, buy it outside.
No trash bin in the bathroom, we put our trash in a plastic bag then threw them in the trash bin outside of the room.
The television is super small.

But we did not mind all these CONS because of the super affordable price. Overall, we loved our stay at the hotel, and we are definitely coming back.
